Todd Hammitt: Coach/Owner
Todd started gymnastics when he was only 18 months old. Todd grew up in the High
Tech gym and entered his first USGF (now USA) meet at age seven. Todd went on to
compete at USGF meets across the state winning numerous ribbons, medals and
trophies at all levels. At seventeen he competed in the U.S. Junior Olympic
Regional Championships against some of the top gymnasts in the nation for a
place on the National Team. Later Todd took up martial arts and now holds a
black belt in Tukong Moosul. Todd graduated from Texas State University with a
degree in geography specializing in environmental science. He now works for the
Texas Commission on Environmental Quality during the day and teaches gymnastics
at High Tech Gymnastics in the evening.
Cindy Cardenas: Coach
Cindy has over 25 years of experience teaching and coaching
gymnastics. Having danced for the Austin Ballet, Cindy brings a unique talent to
High Tech Gymnastics. She is an excellent choreographer and her superbly
choreographed floor and beam routines have received top rankings in USA and AGA
meets across the state.
